Perea pergola awnings reliably shade even large areas. The robust post system and the timeless, modern design suit many architectural styles.
Operating Principle and Components
A pergola awning is a textile sun protection system with dual guidance of the fabric via tracks. It is ideal for large terraces and outdoor areas. Thanks to its fixed construction with posts, it delivers higher wind stability and a clear, linear design — perfect for modern architectural concepts.

Pergola Awnings in Action: Solutions for Modern Architecture
The Conti Restaurant in the Haus der Bayerischen Wirtschaft conference centre offers a very special fine dining experience. With exquisite cuisine and an ambience to match, the inside spaces seat up to 100 guests, with space for an additional 45 guests outside on the sun patio.
A large area of the patio has now been fitted with a waterproof pergola awning which allows guests to enjoy the delicious food and the atmosphere outdoors almost all year round, from spring until well into the autumn.
The patio of the Kaiser Konstantin brewery in Cologne’s Deutz district offers a breathtaking view of the historic old town, the cathedral and the river Rhine. Regardless of whether it’s sunny, windy or raining, guests can enjoy a glass of Kölsch draught beer outside on the patio with the traditional German and Mediterranean cuisine that is served. The Perea P70 patio roof from WAREMA is what makes this possible.
It consists of two individual units, each five metres wide and four metres deep. The 40-square-metre area can accommodate around 30 people. Thanks to the weatherproof awning fabric, guests can now sit outside even in changeable weather. This allows the brewery both to increase the number of guests it can accommodate and to respond more flexibly to customers' requests.
