A safe emergency route is a central component of forward-thinking building planning. With the WAREMA SecuKit additional control available for external venetian blinds, roller shutters and window awnings, the emergency route can be opened in just a few seconds even in the event of a power failure.
Raise external venetian blinds with ease in the event of a power failure by laterally locking the end rail in the guide rails at a predefined height to clear the route out. Facade integration of the SecuKit is completely unobtrusive with external venetian blinds.
The new version can be used for an area of up to 8.2 m² with the following roller shutters:
- Front-mounted roller shutters V4 and V6
- Top-mounted roller shutters AU-RO
- Top-mounted roller shutter for new buildings NA-RO inspection access inside
- Top-mounted roller shutter for new buildings NA-RO inspection access outside
If there is a power failure, the lowered sun shading product can be quickly raised by a few hand-pulls so that the emergency route out of the building remains clear. Using the belt temporarily will have zero influence on motorised operation under normal circumstances. This means that no resets are necessary and the settings on the intelligent control system will remain unchanged.

In normal daily operation, benefits include high-quality, convenient basic motorisation and (for roller shutters) torque monitoring and freezing protection, ensuring that operation is not restricted. The sun shading system’s movement behaviour remains the same even if SecuKit is installed, ensuring that it blends into the facade and all sun shading products can be raised and lowered in the same way. Even indoors, the belt fastening system remains unobtrusive as no additional belt winder is required. The SecuKit is also completely unobtrusive with external venetian blinds. SecuKit has proved such a success that WAREMA has expanded the range to accommodate larger shading areas.
