The State Chancellery estate comprises a number of buildings, many of which were built over 100 years ago. In order to make the listed building fit for current and future requirements with regard to comfort, safety and energy efficiency, a new and effective sun shading control system was needed.

An ideal field of application for the WAREMA Mobile System, since the radio system doesn't need control lines and is thus easy to retrofit, yet still reliable.

  • Scope: 7 office buildings
  • Receivers: 316 WMS actuators
  • Weather stations: 21 WMS weather stations plus
  • Operating elements: 21 WMS central control units

The integrated sun control ensures ideal automatic glare control on every facade side and thus ensures perfect working conditions at any time of day. However, thanks to the control timer, manual intervention in the system can be made via a central command if necessary. In addition, wind and precipitation monitoring prevents any damage to the window awnings due to bad weather.

In order for all WMS components to interact without faults, each building has its own radio network. This way, weather data and manual commands are precisely transmitted to the corresponding receivers. The intelligent routing between the receivers also ensures a constant reliability of transmission over large distances and makes repeaters superfluous.

Simple installation:WMS receiver for sun shading products, lighting and windows for installation in a flush-mounted switch box.

Safety and energy efficiency:Weather station for recording dawn/dusk, wind and precipitation.

Our software tool supports you in planning the suitable sun shading system. The interactive, web-based tool provides brief descriptions, application examples and a wealth of additional information to help you select the right system. Furthermore, it contains a CAD configurator with which you can independently generate sections and views and adapt them to the structural conditions.
