The silicone-coated glass fibre fabric for window awnings is classified in Germany as a non-combustible Class A2 building material in accordance with DIN 4102-1. In Switzerland, it is approved with fire classification 6q.3 for use in RF1 applications. The fabric is also free from PFAS, PVC and halogens.

Architectural window awnings are textile external shading systems installed outside the glazing or, depending on the system, within a double-skin façade. The fabric rolls onto a shaft and is guided laterally. When retracted, it is stored within an aluminium box or cover panel. The end rail forms the lower edge of the system.

Widths and heights of up to 6,000 mm are available for selected model . Maximum area and configuration limits are defined in the product technical data.

Guide rails can be installed directly on the window, on the façade, in the reveal or spaced off using guide rail brackets. The guidance type is selected according to product configuration and installation conditions.
